Following the owner’s refurbishment of the building, customer acquisition specialist for the legal sector, Blume, has taken 10,500 sq ft, relocating from its nearby West Didsbury and city centre locations to culminate more than 100 staff in one Manchester head office facility, and to enable its expansion after tripling in growth over the past two years. Terms were agreed on a 10-year lease. Alex Kenny, the new CEO of Blume spoke about the business’s aspirations for the new workspace. He said: “Combining our Manchester offices and teams under one roof forms part of a wider ambition for Blume’s continued growth and evolution. Egerton House suits our culture perfectly, being in a buoyant business park with great amenities, new offices and lots going on. We are looking forward to creating a new, branded workplace for our hard-working team to enjoy and thrive in.” James Dickinson, director at Canning O’Neill, joint agent with JLL at Egerton House, commented on the lettings. He said: “Alliance has created a high-quality office provision through its refurbishment programme, ensuring the space is up-to-date and appealing to employees. They understand the audience and type of tenants seeking space in Manchester’s most popular suburbs. “Towers is a well-connected and well-served business park, and we are very pleased to see Alliance’s accommodation continue to attract successful and growing occupiers in a competitive office market.” Further refurbishment works are planned to the first floor, with new suites available from 1,500 sqft to 8,000 sq ft. Rodney Hunt of Property Alliance Group added: “Egerton House is a prestigious office building for established and growing businesses. The quality of the office suites combined with the business park’s on-site facilities – car parking, café and communal spaces, outdoor landscaping and green areas, to name a few – make for an appealing workspace for employers tapping into a local and commuter talent pool. “We are delighted to welcome Blume at Egerton House, we hope they will enjoy their new environment.” Located in the grounds of established business park, Towers, the site benefits from landscaped woodland and close proximity to a full range of village amenities as well as excellent connectivity to Manchester city centre.
